The unexpected robot of the story ends up prevailing over his brothers and Wolfgang. Though each robot had to deal with Wolfgang in their own way. They have to be careful due to the fact of the monster their mother warned them about the big bad Wolfgang who was a recycler robot and just wanted to use other robots to make different machines. In this book like the three little pigs each robot goes and builds their own home.
The characters Rod, Slick, and Dudley are sent out into the world by their mother who feels that it is time for them grow up and live in their own homes.
